Oblitus: A Fusion of Dark Souls and Shadow of the Colossus

A shield, a spear, and your wits. What more could one ask for?

Oblitus, being made by sole developer Connor Ullmann, takes inspiration from the likes of Dark Souls and Shadow of the Colossus. This brutal but fair action RPG, sets Connor Ullmann stated to Intdie Statik in a interview:

“The main goal so far has been to make a Dark Souls-style combat system, but faster.”

In Oblitus progress is made through the unlocking of various masks, each which grants the player a permanent upgrade to their character. These masks will be retained upon death, but any progress made toward the next mask is brought back to zero.

Oblitus is a brutal, but fair game that rewards players for learning to play the game well.
