You can tell a publisher’s desperate to pad out their conference when four of their games include “Conceptual Prototype” overlayed across them, and include more video of people talking than actual gameplay. The big offenders being the new Star Wars Battlefront, Mirrors Edge 2, the new Mass Effect, and Criterion’s unnamed project. Aside from the stable of regular EA sports games, The Sims 4, and Battlefield Hardline were the only other games worthy of note.
